Collagen Replacement Therapy (CRT) is a safe, non-surgical
treatment which smoothes out the appearance of facial lines, wrinkles and
scars by replacing the natural collagen support layer beneath our skin.
Results of CRT are seen immediately.
Collagen is the major support system for our skin. As we age our collagen
network breaks down and our skin loses elasticity. CRT replaces that collagen
network. In CRT collagen is injected just beneath the skin's surface, where
the body accepts the collagen as its own. Just like our natural collagen,
the injected collagen eventually wears down and on-going treatments are
required for maintenance. Collagen therapy is also available for "Paris
Lips", allowing patients to achieve fuller looking lips with well defined
borders, as well as Cupid's Bow enhancement.
