What is Fractional Skin Resurfacing?
Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing is a revolutionary treatment for soft tissue coagulation and non-ablative skin resurfacing* with high efficacy and no downtime.

Fractional Laser Resurfacing delivers light in an array of high precision microbeams. These microbeams create narrow, deep columns of tissue coagulation that penetrate well below the epidermis and into the dermis, while sparing the tissue surrounding the columns from damage. The coagulated tissue within the columns initiates a natural healing process that accelerates the formation of new, healthy tissue. Coagulated cellular debris is expelled as the skin is resurfaced.

Benefits:

  • Improves fine lines/wrinkles
  • Decreases sunspots
  • Fresher, more youthful skin
  • Improves tone and texture
  • Reduces acne scarring
  • Reduces pore size
  • Removes discolorations
  • Improves Melasma

Procedure:

  • First, you should apply a topical anesthetic cream prior to arriving to treatment.
  • You may take Tylenol but do not take anti-coagulants such as: asprin, and advil.
  • You will be given special goggles to wear to protect your eyes.
  • A laser will be glided over the areas treated and will take 30-60 minutes.
  • Skin will turn red & swollen immediately & will last about 24 hrs, like a sunburn.
  • There should be some discomfort, but no significant pain.

It has been a great experience and pleasure to have Dr. Hubbell and his staff, treat me for Melasma using the Fractional Laser Resurfacing. It has helped me 100%. I would recommend other’s to give it a try.

*Individual results may vary. Fractional Laser Resurfacing is FDA approved for soft tissue coagulation
but not yet for wrinkle reduction.
